Hello friends. It's been awhile huh 😅 honestly, I have zero excuses. Long story short, this has been a year of milestones. It started off with me losing my first family member, to getting a new job, new house, traveling abroad, and lots more that I won't bother you with. But in all honesty, I had too many ideas for blog posts that my mind felt too cluttered and lost motivation to write 🤷🏻♀️ if you can even call this writing...
Anyway, last week was Black Friday and oh boy did I do some damage 😳. I was pretty good for the first half of November, especially with it being my birthday month. However, the shopping addiction for sure kicked in during birthday week and went downhill from there. But you know what that means? More posts to come ☺️!
I pretty much knocked out almost all of my Christmas shopping solely through Amazon. Now, I don't wanna give them any unsolicited promo, but they had everything I needed (and didn't need). Not only did I get presents for all my friends and family, but I also got some goodies for myself too 😁, including a new teapot and tea leaves! They came in a few days like typical Amazon fashion, and I couldn't resist trying it out! With the weather being cooler and me being too lazy to go into the office, it was the perfect time to break out my new presents 😜.
We Summarize Things
The Teabloom teapot is worth the price (even when not on sale) and works well, but watch out for the lid! The tea leaves are bomb though. No complaints on those, unless you don't like jasmine green tea.

Teabloom Glass Teapot
Rating: B+
I love tea. It's usually my restaurant (nonalcoholic) drink of choice, but I don't really drink it that often because I didn't have a teapot or good diffuser that I could use. This teapot caught my eye because not only does it look super ✨sexy✨ with its minimalist glass look, but it also comes with a diffuser for loose leaf teas. I have a few individual tea diffusers that you use in a mug, but this was a nice little feature for when you're making tea for multiple people.

While this teapot does its job and is great for its price, there are a few things that keep me from rating it an A. One of which is that the condensation that builds up on the top of the pot doesn't make it look very sexy when there's hot liquid inside. This is kinda inevitable because even with the lid off you can still see droplets collect at the top of the pot. It's not a deal-breaker, but I'm a sucker for nice looking things, and this just doesn't look nice. Second is that the lid doesn't fit the pot very well. Not only is the lid significantly smaller than the pot opening, but the bottom of the lid is curved while the top of the pot is flat, so it doesn't even sit right 😕.

With all that said, the pot works very well. I haven't used the diffuser yet, but I really like how the slits are very small, which means that the tea will release into the water pretty slowly. My favorite feature of the pot actually is the handle. It feels very sturdy, and stays cool to the touch the entire time you're using it, which I was pretty impressed with ☺️ Overall, I'd say this is a pretty good purchase, even without the Black Friday deal.
Teabloom Flowering Tea (12 Pack)
Rating: A
Like I said earlier, this tea is bomb. It looked really gimmicky at first, but since it was on sale, I decided to try it and I was not disappointed. TBH, I didn't even read the product description very well so I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that these were green Twas. I also didn't expect it to each come individually wrapped, but that makes sense, since you don't want the flowers to fall apart.
The tea leaves come bundled in a ball, and all you have to do is drop the ball into hot water and the ball will unravel into a pretty and colorful looking flower design! 😱 It looks so pretty inside the glass pot I can't even 😍. I'm not sure if the flowers are colored with dye though, because the flowers lose color after the first steep, but I'm willing to overlook that because of how pretty they are.

The package says that it can be resteeped 2-3 times and makes about 40 cups of tea. Well I can definitely attest to that. I had a friend over to WFH for the day. I poured our first cups of tea at around 9am and by 6pm, we were pretty much sweating green tea. I looked up whether we could save the tea leaves for later, but it was recommended to not save tea overnight because it can build bacteria. So, we had probably resteeped during the day about 8 times, and the leaves still hadn't lost all flavor. It tasted pretty good too!
All in all, I would highly recommend these flowering teas for when you want to treat yourself, or for gifting! Just keep in mind that it will make lots and lots of cups of tea. If you're not ready to drown in tea, then maybe save it for a special occasion, or you can toss it whenever, but I'm not one to waste good tea 🙃.
