The Prettiest Earrings You Will Ever See

Sighhhhh I fell prey to an instagram ad... happens quite often, actually. I've been pretty good lately though and have to ask myself everytime if I NEED it (the answer is almost always no). I gave myself a break during Birthday Month though, and decided to spring for these... along with a bunch of other unnecessary stuff.
Dainty Stories Pearl Tassel Earrings Rating: B
We Summarize Things
Very cheap quality but makes good eye candy.
These earrings have been in my ads for a long long time and they are so pretty that everytime I scroll past them they give me a little joy just looking at them 😍. They're so unique and even though I have nowhere to wear them at the moment, at least I can look at them in person instead of in my ads? 🤷🏻♀️ The only reason that I held off on them as long as I could was because of the price point. I wasn't so keen on spending almost $30 on an instagram product, but hey, treat yourself, right?
Shipping
I was so excited when I received them in the mail! They took forever... about two and a half weeks. I ordered them on November 7th and didn't get them until the 23rd.... I was kind of surprised they took so long because my tracking details showed that they shipped within the same state. If it were from China, at least I would know to expect a long delivery. The website doesn't specify where they're from, so I'm not sure if they originated from China and they had to wait to package it in the states to ship out again.
Packaging
I didn't have the greatest first impression of these. The packaging was really cheap... I've gotten other jewelry via instagram before, and the packaging was really really nice, with ring boxes that lit up. These just came in a little cardboard gift box with a little bow, which kinda foreshadowed the quality of the actual earrings....

Quality
Both the pearls and the gold chains felt like they were made of plastic. Ew. Even the tassel part at the end feels like it's hollow. Now, I'm not the type of person who wears fine jewelry on the daily, so to me, I feel like they still look good, especially from afar. They're even "boyfriend approved", but what does he know 😂. So I decided to keep them.
Usability
These are the first pair of double ended earrings I've owned, which basically means that the back of the earring looks like a stud, rather than a typical backing. I was pretty nervous about those because I was afraid I would break the backs, or I wouldn't be able to find the hole. It was fine though. Because they were made of crap materials, these earrings are actually really lightweight! For dangly earrings, they don't tug on your lobes, and I can wear them comfortably all day long.

For the most part, as much as I'd like to think of myself as a "fancy brunch bitch", in reality, I just love to spend entire days in bed. Even though these are pretty crap quality, I will keep them for the few times I get the chance to wear them. In my opinion, the quality isn't worth the price, but you're basically paying for the design and they are actually quite pretty to look at.
Update:
Just randomly saw a YouTube video where a girl shows a pair like these from Dior. Given that the designer pair costs $550, I would say these are a good dupe 😂.
